Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011
Turkey participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Turkey selected their entry through an internal selection, organised by Turkish broadcaster Türkiye Radyo ve Televizyon Kurumu (TRT)
==Internal Selection==
Like in the past years, the Turkish broadcaster TRT held an internal selection. The website eurovisiondream.com ran by Turkish Eurovision fans, however, launched an online petition to persuade TRT to hold a national final instead of the internal selection used since 2005. They aimed to reach 10,000 signatures in two weeks.
First TRT decided the performer (Yüksek Sadakat), who will then present three songs to the selection committee which will make the final choice. The performer was announced at the last day of 2010.
